SUMMARY:Building a Roadmap for Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Human and En
 vironmental Health Protection
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:The Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) ↗ invi
tes stakeholders from science\, industry\, and policy to join the 2025 Ann
 ual Meeting. Held on 4 – 5 June 2025 in Washington\, DC\, this conferenc
e will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are t
ransforming safety science in the contexts of drug development\, chemical
regulation\, and food safety. The event will focus on cutting-edge applica
tions\, regulatory and ethical challenges\, and the development of a strat
egic framework for responsible AI integration.&nbsp\;Attendees will engage
with real-world AI applications—ranging from molecular toxicity modelin
g to ecosystem impact assessments—and participate in panel discussions o
n the ethical\, legal\, and technical aspects of AI in health and environm
ental protection. Additional highlights include interactive polling sessio
ns\, a poster session for emerging research\, and a closing panel to defin
e actionable next steps in AI-driven innovation.&nbsp\;PARC will be repres
ented by Joyce de Paula Souza ↗ (University of Basel ↗\, Switzerland)\
, who will present the communication: “Establishment of Readiness Criter
ia for AI-based Tools for Risk Assessment: READYAI” .&nbsp\;Join interna
tional experts in shaping the responsible and impactful use of AI in advan
