SUMMARY:Environmental Occurrence\, Hazard &amp\; Risk of per- and poly-fluo
 roalkyl substances Symposium
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:The 4th EnvironChemTox Symposium on PFAS ↗ (per- and poly-flu
oroalkyl substances) will focus on the environmental occurrence\, fate\, e
xposure\, bioaccumulation\, and ecotoxicological risks of PFAS. As PFAS co
ntinue to draw global attention for their persistence\, mobility\, and hea
lth impacts\, this event offers a timely platform for scientists\, regulat
ors\, and industry stakeholders to share advances and discuss challenges.&
nbsp\;PARC research will be strongly represented with two contributions:&n
bsp\;Laetitia Six (OVAM ↗\, Belgium) will present “Decoding PFAS Behav
ior in Soils: Evidence from Three PARC Case Studies on Leaching\, Source I
 dentification and Spatial Distribution”Pavel Babica ↗ (RECETOX ↗\, M
asaryk University ↗\, Czechia) will present “From Signals to Suspects:
Exploring Cellular Dialogue via Gap Junctions in the Detection of Non-Gen
otoxic Carcinogens”&nbsp\;These contributions reflect PARC’s engagemen
t both in PFAS environmental science and mechanistic toxicology.
