 y Office (UKRIO) is preparing a webinar titled Exploring the Ethical Frame
 work for Obtaining Material from Sentient Animals. The session will take p
 lace online on 22 January 2026. It will offer an in-depth introduction to 
 the Ethical Framework for Obtaining Materials from Sentient Animals\, a gu
 idance document developed by the Animal Materials Working Group. Published
  in summer 2025\, the Framework is a practical\, user-friendly resource de
 signed to support ethical decision-making in the sourcing of animal materi
 als.During the webinar\, guest speakers involved in the development of the
  Framework will present its background\, scope\, and content\, and demonst
 rate how it can be applied to strengthen ethical practices across a range 
 of settings\, including research laboratories\, farms\, zoos\, veterinary 
 contexts\, and historical collections.Target audienceThis event is open to
