DESCRIPTION:The course Absolute Environmental Sustainability Assessment of 
 Production and Consumption in a Systems Perspective\, offered by the Techn
 ical University of Denmark (DTU)\, will take place 17–21 August 2026 at 
 Campus Lyngby. It combines in-person teaching with follow-up activities\, 
 including a poster assignment and online presentation sessions after the c
 ourse.This is a PhD-level course introducing methods to evaluate environme
 ntal impacts in relation to global sustainability limits. It focuses on mo
 ving beyond relative comparisons to assess whether products\, systems\, or
  organisations operate within absolute environmental boundaries. Through l
 ectures\, exercises\, and participant-driven case studies\, the course equ
 ips participants with practical skills to apply life cycle thinking\, allo
 cate environmental carrying capacities\, and interpret results to support 
 evidence-based sustainability decision-making.Target AudienceThe course is
