SUMMARY:Webinar on Sampling Quality Assurance and Quality Control
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Webinar Series on Quality assurance (QA) and qua
lity control (QC) in chemical analysis and in vitro toxicity testing\, PAR
C will host a webinar on Sampling Quality Assurance and Quality Control\,
which will take place online\, via Microsoft Teams on 24 June 2026\, from
12:00 to 13:00 CET. The session will be led by Katrin Vorkamp and Nathalie
  Guigues\, researchers at ENVS-AU ↗\, Denmark and LNE\, France ↗\, res
pectively. What to expect:This webinar will provide a practical overview of
QA/QC principles applied to sampling\, covering key aspects from sample c
ollection to transport\, storage\, and pre-analytical handling. Participan
ts will gain insight into how robust sampling protocols and field quality
controls contribute to reliable and comparable data across studies and dom
ains. Examples from environmental monitoring\, human biomonitoring (HBM)\,
and food sampling will be included. Topics will include:• Key elements
 of sampling protocols (equipment\, procedures\, documentation)\;• Sample
  pretreatment\, transport\, and storage considerations\;• Stability of a
nalytes and factors affecting sample integrity\;• Field quality controls
  (blanks\, replicates\, spiked samples\, reference materials)\;• Practic
al approaches to assessing and managing sampling uncertainty.Who should at
tend:This session is open to researchers\, field personnel\, laboratory an
alysts\, quality managers\, and data users involved in chemical monitoring
across environmental\, human biomonitoring (HBM)\, and food domains\, bot
h within and outside PARC.Practical details:Participation in this webinar
is free of charge. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-com
e\, first-served basis. Registered participants will receive the connectio
n link after registration.Application deadline:The registration form will
remain open until the maximum capacity of 300 participants is reached or u
 ntil 22 June 2026\, whichever comes first.How to register:To participate\,
please complete the registration form here ↗.Stay informed about upcomi
