SUMMARY:14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens - Blending 
 New Technology with Traditional Genotoxicity Approaches

DESCRIPTION:The 14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens (IC
 EM 2026 ↗) will bring together scientists working in environmental mutag
 enesis\, genomics\, toxicology\, regulatory science and related fields to 
 discuss emerging approaches for understanding and preventing damage to the
  genome. The conference will be held under the theme “Blending new techn
 ology with traditional genotoxicity approaches to solve real world problem
 s.” The scientific programme will combine new technologies with establis
 hed genotoxicity approaches\, with particular attention to mechanistic und
 erstanding of genome threats\, innovative in vitro models\, artificial int
 elligence and novel bioinformatics platforms.&nbsp\;PARC will have a stron
 g presence at ICEM 2026 through the organisation of a SYNnet Forum dedicat
 ed to “Next Generation Biomonitoring for New Occupational Exposures”. 
 The Forum will contribute to strengthening synergies between PARC and exte
 rnal entities and research projects\, fostering collaboration around emerg
 ing occupational exposure challenges. Invited speaker Maria João Silva  
 ↗(Portuguese National Institute of Health Doutor Ricardo Jorge – INSA 
 ↗\, Portugal) will present the communication “Beyond Exposure Assessme
 nt: The Value of Effect Biomarkers to Assess Occupational Risks”\, highl
 ighting the contribution of effect biomarkers to a more comprehensive unde

SUMMARY:14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens - Blending 
 New Technology with Traditional Genotoxicity Approaches

DESCRIPTION:The 14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens (IC
 EM 2026 ↗) will bring together scientists working in environmental mutag
 enesis\, genomics\, toxicology\, regulatory science and related fields to 
 discuss emerging approaches for understanding and preventing damage to the
  genome. The conference will be held under the theme “Blending new techn
 ology with traditional genotoxicity approaches to solve real world problem
 s.” The scientific programme will combine new technologies with establis
 hed genotoxicity approaches\, with particular attention to mechanistic und
 erstanding of genome threats\, innovative in vitro models\, artificial int
 elligence and novel bioinformatics platforms.&nbsp\;PARC will have a stron
 g presence at ICEM 2026 through the organisation of a SYNnet Forum dedicat
 ed to “Next Generation Biomonitoring for New Occupational Exposures”. 
 The Forum will contribute to strengthening synergies between PARC and exte
 rnal entities and research projects\, fostering collaboration around emerg
 ing occupational exposure challenges. Invited speaker Maria João Silva  
 ↗(Portuguese National Institute of Health Doutor Ricardo Jorge – INSA 
 ↗\, Portugal) will present the communication “Beyond Exposure Assessme
 nt: The Value of Effect Biomarkers to Assess Occupational Risks”\, highl
 ighting the contribution of effect biomarkers to a more comprehensive unde
 rstanding of occupational health risks.&nbsp\;Several other PARC collabora
