DESCRIPTION:The PARC Work Package 5 (WP5) – Hazard Assessment Annual Meet
 ing brings together researchers\, Work Package partners to discuss the lat
 est scientific developments supporting next-generation hazard assessment. 
 The meeting provides an important platform to review ongoing activities\, 
 strengthen collaboration across institutions\, and foster knowledge exchan
 ge on innovative approaches for chemical hazard assessment within PARC.&nb
 sp\;Bringing together experts from across Europe in a hybrid format\, the 
 meeting promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and reinforces PARC's commitme
 nt to developing science-based solutions for improved chemical safety and 
 health protection.&nbsp\;Several PARC researchers will contribute to the s
 cientific programme\, including:&nbsp\;Lada Ivanova (Norwegian Veterinary 
 Institute - VETINST\, Norway ↗) presenting: “Uptake and biotransformat
 ion of enniatin B and B1 in intestinal cell models: factors affecting in v
 ivo bioavailability”&nbsp\;Louise Gutter (National Research Institute fo
 r Agriculture\, Food and Environment - INRAE\, France ↗) presenting: “
 A first focus on the phase I biotransformation pathways followed by a sele
 cted set of bisphenol A alternatives”&nbsp\;Martina Iulini (Unisersità 
 Degli Studi di Milano - UNIMI\, Italy ↗) presenting: “Effects of BPA a
 nd its analogues on human T cell responses”&nbsp\;Simone Fibiger Sørens
 en (University of Southern Denmark – SDU\, Denmark ↗) presenting: “M
 apping Evidence for Developmental Neurotoxicity Mediated Through Endocrine
  Disruption in Fish”&nbsp\;The WP5 Annual Meeting continues to play a ce
 ntral role in strengthening scientific collaboration within PARC and advan
 cing innovative methodologies for hazard assessment. By bringing together 
 expertise from across Europe\, the meeting contributes to the development 
 of robust scientific evidence that supports the future of chemical risk as
 sessment and the protection of human health and the environment.
