The 2025 Meetings of the Conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam, and Stockholm Conventions ↗ will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 28 April to 9 May 2025, at the Geneva International Conference Centre. These back-to-back meetings provide a crucial platform for decision-makers, technical experts, and international stakeholders to advance the global sound management of chemicals and wastes. This year’s theme is “Make visible the invisible: sound management of chemicals and wastes,” underlining the critical role of transparency and science in addressing chemical risks and waste pollution globally. 

PARC will be present with a dedicated side event titled "How science-policy partnership and research infrastructures support implementation of the Stockholm Convention", taking place on 30 April. The session will highlight how PARC supports the Convention through research on persistent organic pollutants (POPs), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), flame retardants, human biomonitoring, real-life mixture risk assessment, and safe and sustainable design.
