The annual symposium DIOXIN 2025 ↗ focuses on persistent organic pollutants (POPs) including dioxins, furans, flame-retardants, and other halogenated compounds of environmental and health relevance. The programme spans analytical developments, toxicology, risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, environmental monitoring, and remediation. Designed for researchers, regulators, industry and environmental professionals, the event offers a comprehensive platform to share knowledge and advance global action on POPs.

 Attendees can expect sessions on ultra‐trace analytical methods, transport and fate of POPs in air, soil, water and biota, toxicity mechanisms, risk modelling, emerging contaminants, and policy/regulatory developments including capacity building in developing regions. The symposium also includes poster sessions, networking events, and a major focus on translating science into regulation and remediation action.
