Building a Roadmap for Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Human and Environmental Health Protection
The Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) ↗ invites stakeholders from science, industry, and policy to join the 2025 Annual Meeting. Held on 4 – 5 June 2025 in Washington, DC, this conference will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are transforming safety science in the contexts of drug development, chemical regulation, and food safety. The event will focus on cutting-edge applications, regulatory and ethical challenges, and the development of a strategic framework for responsible AI integration.
Attendees will engage with real-world AI applications—ranging from molecular toxicity modeling to ecosystem impact assessments—and participate in panel discussions on the ethical, legal, and technical aspects of AI in health and environmental protection. Additional highlights include interactive polling sessions, a poster session for emerging research, and a closing panel to define actionable next steps in AI-driven innovation.
PARC will be represented by Joyce de Paula Souza ↗ (University of Basel ↗, Switzerland), who will present the communication: “Establishment of Readiness Criteria for AI-based Tools for Risk Assessment: READYAI” .
Join international experts in shaping the responsible and impactful use of AI in advancing human and environmental health protection. For full details and registration, please visit the HESI Annual Meeting 2025 website ↗.
