Chemical Exposure - Contact Dermatitis Meeting
The Institut de Chimie de Strasbourg (ITCASS) and the European Research Group on Experimental Contact Dermatitis (ERGECD) Meeting 2026, is an international scientific event bringing together researchers working in the fields of environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry and chemical contaminants. The meeting provides a platform for scientists from academia, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to exchange knowledge and discuss recent developments related to the occurrence, detection and impact of chemical contaminants in the environment.
PARC will be represented at the conference by three presentations:
- Francesca Passoni ↗, (Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research ↗, Italy) with communication on“Immunomodulatory effects of bisphenols: in vitro evidence of human T cell proliferation and differentiation”.
- Veronique de Bruijn ↗ (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment ↗, Netherlands) with presentation on: "Towards prospective identification of respiratory sensitizers: setting up a co-culture of bronchial epithelial and dendritic-like cells".
- Alexandra Seibel ↗ (Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences ↗, Denmark) with communication on: "The effect of mixtures of contact allergens on skin sensitization".
The ITCASS–ERGECD Meeting 2026 offers an excellent opportunity for researchers and professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss recent advances in environmental chemistry and contaminant research. Participants are invited to join the conference and explore how collaborative research contributes to improving the understanding of chemical exposures and their impacts on human health and the environment. These discussions are closely aligned with the goals of PARC, which aims to advance scientific knowledge and strengthen chemical risk assessment across Europe.
