Society of Toxicology - 2026 Annual Meeting
The 65th Annual Society of Toxicology (SOT) Meeting and ToxExpo is recognised as one of the most comprehensive global gatherings in the field - offering cutting-edge science spanning molecular mechanisms, exposure science, risk assessment, emerging methodologies, and practical applications for human and environmental health protection. The SOT 2026 Meeting will include keynote lectures, symposia, workshops, roundtables, poster sessions and ToxExpo exhibits. Scientific sessions cover diverse topics such as developmental toxicology, in vitro and in silico methods, AI in toxicology, risk assessment integration, environmental exposures and mechanistic insights into adverse health outcomes. Additional professional development and networking opportunities include specialised early-career programming and interactions with exhibitors showcasing the latest tools and technologies.
PARC will contribute to the scientific programme with the following presentations:
- Tessa Hagens ↗ (Leiden University ↗, The Netherlands): “Establishing a quantitative and advanced in vitro test system to evaluate chemical-induced liver fibrosis”,
- Emanuela Corsini ↗ (University of Milan, Italy ↗): “From Hematopoietic Models to iPSC-Derived Organoids: Mapping the Toolbox for DIT”,
- Linglu Xu (Leiden University ↗, The Netherlands): "Systematic characterization of transcriptional reprogramming by non-genotoxic carcinogens after single or repeated exposure of hiPSC-derived hepatocyte-like cells".
These presentations highlight PARC’s efforts to advance in vitro approaches for mechanistic toxicology and chemical hazard understanding. The 2026 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage with the global toxicology community, discover innovative research approaches, and contribute to shaping the future of chemical safety science. PARC encourages its community to attend, participate in discussions and take advantage of the rich scientific programme.
