The annual PARC-JRC meeting is just around the corner!

Agenda Highlights 

The meeting will address eight critical topics aimed at advancing chemical risk assessment and regulatory frameworks: 

1. Promoting PARC Results: Discuss strategies for enhancing the visibility and impact of completed projects in policy and regulatory arenas. 
2. In Vitro Methods: Explore regulatory readiness, prioritization, and validation of in vitro methods. 
3. Endocrine Disruptors (EDs): Maximize the regulatory application of PARC’s ED-related outputs. 
4. Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD): Operationalizing the EC/JRC SSbD Framework and advancing the PARC toolbox. 
5. Non-Target and Suspect Screening: Enhancing QA/QC tools and collaboration on reference materials. 
6. Systemic Toxicity: Leveraging PARC activities to address policy objectives for systemic toxicity under REACH. 
7. Transitional Initiatives (TIs): Exploring TIs as a framework for reducing and replacing animal testing in regulatory contexts. 
8. IPCHEM Development: Discussing advancements in IPCHEM and sharing individual data.
