The 3rd edition of the Postgraduate Course on Human Exposure Assessment took place in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, from 13 to 15 May 2025 on-site and continued online from 26 to 27 May 2025. The program focused on exposure as an integral and necessary component in the chain of events leading to potential health consequences. Participants gained knowledge and understanding of human exposure assessment through lectures, discussions, and applied learning tailored to toxicology and environmental health contexts.

Target audience
The course was particularly suited for PhD candidates in toxicology, especially those with ambitions to obtain the European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) certification. It also welcomed professionals in occupational and environmental fields, as well as individuals with an academic background in toxicology or related disciplines who wished to deepen their knowledge, even if not pursuing ERT status.
