TKPlate: EFSA’s open access platform for TK and TD modelling

Programme
Fee
Free of charge

PARC is organising a remote training course on TKPlate, EFSA’s open-access platform for toxicokinetic and toxicodynamic modelling that supports the integration of new approach methodologies (NAMs) into next-generation risk assessment (NGRA) of chemicals. Scientific coordination is provided by the platform developers Jean-Lou Dorne (EFSA) and Keyvin Darney (ANSES).

What to expect:

  • An interactive session combining theory with practical case studies
  • Step-by-step guidance on using TKPlate for TK/TD modelling and dosimetry analysis
  • Real examples demonstrating how NAMs can be integrated into NGRA
  • Direct access to EFSA and ANSES experts for discussion and clarification

Who should attend:

This training is intended for scientists, risk assessors, and researchers working in toxicology, exposure assessment, or chemical risk evaluation who wish to apply TK and TD modelling within NAMs and NGRA frameworks. It is also suitable for regulatory experts and advanced students interested in computational toxicology and quantitative modelling tools.

Practical details:

Participation is free of charge. The course is open to both PARC members and non-members, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application deadline:

The registration form will remain open until the maximum capacity of 150 participants is reached or until 7 December 2025, whichever occurs first.
