Short overview
This course introduces the basic principles of normal reproduction and development, with a focus on how environmental factors can lead to adverse reproductive and developmental outcomes. Topics include both male and female reproductive health, recent research findings, and laboratory-based assessments in reproductive and developmental toxicology, including assisted reproductive techniques.

Target audience
Primarily intended for doctoral students at the University of Aveiro, the course is also open to MSc graduates, researchers, and clinicians with an interest in reproductive and developmental health.
