The Joint Research Centre (JRC) – the European Commission's (EC) science and knowledge service – in collaboration with the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) hosted the first edition of the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) Boot Camp from 25 to 27 October 2023 at the JRC in Ispra, Italy. The program focused on providing fundamental insights into SSbD thinking, presenting the EU SSbD framework through experts in the field, and fostering knowledge exchange within the growing SSbD community.
