The Basic Statistics in R training course, organised by the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB), will take place online across four sessions on 15, 22, and 29 January and 5 February 2026. This introductory course is designed to familiarise participants with the R and RStudio environments, covering key tasks such as data importing, formatting, visualisation, and statistical analysis. Through a blend of e-learning materials and live sessions, attendees will gain hands-on experience using real-life datasets while learning to apply t-tests, ANOVA, and non-parametric tests.

This course is particularly suited for students, researchers, and professionals with no prior experience in R who are looking to build basic programming and data analysis skills for their academic or professional work.
