This training course will take place on-site at UMIT Tirol, Austria, from 19–23 May 2025, and offers 5 ECTS credits. It introduces key concepts and methods in causal inference, with a strong focus on real-world applications in health technology assessment and policy. The five-day programme combines lectures, case discussions, group work, and hands-on computer sessions using Stata and R. Participants will explore various causal methods and treatment switching adjustment techniques through practical exercises, supported by teaching assistants. The course is ideal for professionals in healthcare, regulatory agencies, academia, and industry, with basic knowledge of biostatistics and statistical software required.
