The Data Analysis with R training course will be held on 6-7 October 2025, both on-site at the CSC Training Facilities in Espoo, Finland, and online. This two-day hands-on course is designed to help participants overcome the initial learning curve of R by providing essential skills in data manipulation, visualisation, and basic statistical analysis. Through practical exercises and instruction, attendees will learn how to navigate RStudio, import and export data, use the tidyverse package for data wrangling, create high-quality plots with ggplot2, and apply basic statistical methods such as t-tests and linear regression. 

Target audience
This course is ideal for researchers and students from any discipline who are new to R and want to begin working with data analysis or reinforce their foundational R skills. No prior experience in programming, R, or command-line tools is required.
