The SIB Data Visualisation with R course will be held on 16-17 December 2025, in Zurich and is designed to help scientists create clear, effective, and visually compelling representations of their data. This hands-on training will guide participants through the principles of designing data visualisations for scientific communication. From selecting the most suitable type of graph to avoiding common pitfalls, such as error bars, participants will learn how to tailor their visualisations to specific audiences and contexts, whether for scholarly publications, presentations, or complex datasets. The course also includes practical sessions using R.
