This online course will run from 12–14 June 2025 and offers an in-depth introduction to advanced methods in systematic reviews and meta-analysis for health professionals. Delivered over three days, the course combines interactive lectures and practical tutorials, covering frequentist and Bayesian meta-analysis, diagnostic accuracy methods, and network meta-analysis. Participants will also explore the role of meta-analysis in health technology assessment, clinical guideline development, and decision-making. Hands-on computer exercises will reinforce key concepts. Designed for researchers, health professionals, students, and consultants with basic statistical knowledge and software experience, the course is taught in English and fully online.
