PARC is offering a specialised one-day online training course on metrological traceability, interlaboratory comparisons, and reference materials in chemical measurements. The course will take place on 17 October 2025, under the scientific coordination of the General Chemical State Laboratory, Greece.

What to expect:

  • A comprehensive overview of metrological traceability and its importance for ensuring reliable chemical measurements.
  • Practical guidance on the design and evaluation of interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs).
  • In-depth exploration of reference materials (RMs) and certified reference materials (CRMs) in method validation and quality control.
  • Case studies and interactive discussions to apply theoretical concepts to real-world measurement challenges.

Who should attend:

This training is intended for researchers and students with a basic background in analytical chemistry who want to strengthen their knowledge of quality assurance in chemical measurements. The course is considered intermediate level.

Practical details:

The training will take place online from 09:00 to 17:00 (CET). Participation is open to both PARC members and non-members, with a maximum of 50 participants. There are no registration fees.
