PARC is organising an in-person training course on quality assurance and quality control, focusing on the accuracy, reliability, and comparability of measurement results in human biomonitoring (HBM) studies. The course will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the scientific coordination of the Jožef Stefan Institute ↗.

What to expect:

• In-depth insights into quality assurance procedures
• A comprehensive approach to quality control measures
• Familiarisation with standardized methodologies (e.g. ISO, OECD, EURAMET)
• Key principles of metrology and their application in HBM
• Practical hands-on training

Who should attend:

This course is designed for researchers and students working in HBM. Participants should have a basic understanding of analytical chemistry.

Practical details:

This course is open for both PARC members and non-members, although priority will be given to PARC members. There are no registration fees, but participants must cover travel, accommodation, and other expenses.
