Eawag will host Nontarget2026 – Nontarget Screening of Organic Chemicals in the Environment, an international conference dedicated to advancing non-target screening approaches for comprehensive chemical risk assessment. The event will bring together researchers, regulators, and technical experts to discuss the latest developments in analytical technologies, computational tools, transformation products, persistent/mobile/toxic substances, hazard assessment, and applications in chemical management. The programme includes keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, workshops, and extensive networking opportunities in an interactive format. 

PARC will be represented at Nontarget2026 through a dedicated presentation highlighting the Partnership’s work to strengthen the regulatory use of innovative monitoring tools. 

Nicole Bandow (German Environmental Agency ↗) will present the communication “Advancing Non-Targeted Screening for Regulatory Applications: Insights from the European Partnership PARC”, showcasing how PARC is advancing non-targeted screening approaches to support chemical monitoring, prioritisation, and evidence-based regulatory decision-making in Europe.
