Prevention is Better than the Cure - Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland and the European Chapter of the International Society of Exposure Science Workshop 2026
The OHSI & ISES Europe Workshop 2026 ↗ is jointly organised by the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland (OHSI) and the European Chapter of the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES Europe). The workshop will bring together researchers, occupational hygienists, exposure scientists, policymakers, regulators, and industry professionals to discuss current research and practical challenges in the intersecting fields of occupational hygiene and exposure science. The event is organised under the theme “Prevention is Better than the Cure”, highlighting the importance of proactive approaches to exposure assessment and health protection.
PARC will contribute to the workshop by showcasing research that advances exposure science and supports next-generation chemical risk assessment in Europe. PARC will share innovative approaches for understanding human and environmental exposures, strengthening the scientific evidence base for health protection and regulatory decision-making. A special session on how PARC communication contributes to shaping chemical risk assessment and policy will be chaired by Sónia Namorado and Aglaia Koutsodimou.
