Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry Annual Meeting – Science, Regulations and Networks

Date
17 ─ 21.05.2026
Venue
Maastricht, The Netherlands

The 36th Annual Meeting of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Europe, will bring together environmental scientists, toxicologists, chemists, policymakers, industry professionals, and students from around the world. Under the theme “Embrace the Outlier: In Science, Regulations and Networks”, the meeting aims to explore innovative science and diverse perspectives that expand our understanding of environmental quality and chemical risk management. The scientific programme includes plenary lectures, thematic sessions, poster presentations, training courses, networking activities, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across science and policy.

PARC will have a significant presence at SETAC Europe 2026 through the SYNnet Booth, which will be available throughout the full duration of the congress. Located in the exhibition area, this interactive gathering point will showcase PARC scientific results, foster dialogue with stakeholders, and promote synergies with external initiatives working in the fields of chemical safety, environmental monitoring, and next-generation risk assessment. PARC encourages its community and conference participants to visit the SYNnet Booth, exchange knowledge, and contribute to discussions supporting science-based decision-making.

Moreover, many PARC communications will be presented such as:

  • Advancing the Chemical Exposome: Integrated Targeted and Non-targeted HRMS Investigation of PFAS Occurrence and Transformation in the Rhône River, presented by Nicolas Macorps (ONIRIS, France)
  • MassBank: An Open and FAIR Mass Spectral Data Resource, presented by Anjana Elapavalore (UniLU, Luxembourg)
