PARC Consortium Meeting 2026
The PARC Consortium Meeting 2026 will bring together PARC representatives for three days of strategic discussions, scientific exchange and collaborative planning. Taking place every two years, the Consortium Meeting is one of the most important milestones of the partnership, providing a unique opportunity for researchers, policymakers, regulatory experts and stakeholders to review progress, discuss future priorities and strengthen collaboration across the PARC community.
The programme includes the PARC General Assembly, meetings of the Governing Board, Stakeholder Forum, International Board, National Hub Contact Points, Grant Signatory Board and Data and Ethics Protection Board, SYNnet Forum, alongside dedicated workshops, breakout sessions, poster presentations and networking opportunities. Participants will discuss key topics shaping the future of chemical risk assessment, including Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA), New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), Human Biomonitoring (HBM), chemicals and biodiversity, aggregated exposure, PFAS, microplastics and nanomaterials, pesticides, Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD), data management, early warning systems and science-to-policy approaches.
The meeting will also feature high-level contributions from European and international experts, including discussions on the role of research in supporting European policies, the implementation of the “One Substance, One Assessment” approach, international collaboration and the long-term sustainability of PARC results. Special sessions will focus on translating scientific knowledge into regulatory impact, fostering synergies across projects and strengthening cooperation among the partnership's diverse stakeholders. Although this is an internal event for PARC partners and invited stakeholders, the wider community is invited to follow the meeting highlights, key outcomes and daily updates through PARC’s communication channels. The discussions and activities taking place during the Consortium Meeting contribute directly to PARC’s mission of advancing next-generation chemical risk assessment and supporting the protection of human health and the environment across Europe.
