PARC inviting to the first SYNnet Forum

PARC has created the SYNnet initative to be able to synergise with other projects, research activities and stakeholders in the field of chemical risk management. And now, PARC is inviting all interested to participate in the first PARC SYNnet Forum, taking place as a parallel session at the SETAC conference on 6 May, from 12:55 to 14:23 CET in Seville.

The SYNnet Forum aims to promote cooperation of PARC with other research and innovation initiatives and facilitate dialogue and knowledge-sharing among scientists.

At the Forum participants will get thorough introductions by leaders of work packages and tasks to the work performed in PARC on: 

  • Human biomonitoring, environmental monitoring and innovative methods
  • Next generation risk assessment for Environmental Health
  • Research for improved assessment and regulation of chemicals
  • FAIR data to support Chemical Risk Assessment and Regulation
  • Concepts and tools developed in PARC
  • Building infrastructural and human capacities in PARC

The presentations will be followed by an open debate.

Speakers will be Nicole Bandow, Celia Garcia Arenas, Marlene Ågerstrand, Iseult Lynch, Denis Sarigiannis, Ivo Iavicoli, and Sara Esteban García-Navas. The discussion will be moderated by Sónia Namorado and Nikiforos Alygizakis.
