The PARC Junior Community kicked off 2025 with a special career session
The PARC Junior Community started the year with a special career session, held online on 31 January 2025, in collaboration with the three EU Agencies that are members of PARC. The event featured guest speakers from ECHA ↗, EFSA ↗ and EEA ↗, who shared insights into their agencies' vision, mission, work environment, and upcoming traineeship/fellowship opportunities.
PARC co-leaders and members of the priority setting task - Safia Korati ↗(ECHA), Claudia Heppner ↗ (EFSA) and Joana Lobo Vicente ↗ (EEA) - shared personal insights into their career journeys and experiences as EU agents participating in PARC. Additionally, Joachim Gryson ↗ (ECHA) and Carolina Pereira Silva ↗ (EFSA), as HR representatives, presented general career-related information about their agencies.
The session also featured testimonies from two current trainees: Fabiana Dango ↗ (ECHA) and Luis Lorenzo ↗ (EFSA), who shared their firsthand experiences. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions, gaining valuable career advice and inspiration from the speakers. After the session, all attendees received access to the resources shared during the meeting.
