Environmental Epidemiology Annual Congress 2026
The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) Annual Congress 2026 ↗ is a leading international event that brings together epidemiologists, environmental health scientists, public health professionals, policymakers, and researchers to advance knowledge on the relationships between environmental exposures and human health. The congress provides a multidisciplinary forum to discuss the latest scientific evidence, innovative methodologies, and policy-relevant research addressing global environmental health challenges.
PARC will be represented by two researchers contributing to the congress scientific programme:
Rachna Bhoonah (French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety ↗ - ANSES, France) will present:
"Burden from IQ Loss in Children Due to Lead and Methylmercury Exposure in Europe – Single Substance and Mixture Approach."
Sofie Theresa Thomsen (DTU National Food Institute ↗, Denmark) will present:
"European Estimates of the Environmental Burden of Cardiovascular Diseases Due to Lead Exposure in Adults, 2023."
These presentations highlight PARC's contribution to improving the understanding of the health impacts of chemical exposures and supporting evidence-based approaches for chemical risk assessment and public health protection in Europe.
The ISEE Annual Congress 2026 provides an important platform for advancing environmental epidemiology and strengthening collaboration between researchers, public health professionals, and policymakers. PARC is pleased to contribute to this international congress by presenting research that enhances scientific evidence supporting the assessment and prevention of health risks associated with chemical exposures.
