The Mass Spectrometry Imaging Workshop will take place from 23 to 27 November 2026 at the Maastricht MultiModal Molecular Imaging Institute (M4i), Maastricht University, The Netherlands. This five-day workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MSI), including MALDI, DESI, REIMS, and SIMS, with particular attention to the latest developments in MALDI imaging. The programme will cover key aspects of sample preparation and data analysis and will include multiple practical sessions in a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry facility. Participants will gain hands-on experience with MSI approaches used to investigate the spatial distribution of biomolecules, including proteins, peptides, lipids, metabolites, drug molecules, and drug metabolites.
