Survey findings on risk communication in Greece and Slovenia

PARC organised a webinar on Survey Findings on Risk Communication in Greece and Slovenia, which took place online on 26 March 2025. The session was led by Zoe Mousia, Head of the Risk Assessment & Nutrition Directorate at the Hellenic Food Authority, and Urška Kolar, Communications Specialist at the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia. The program presented results from a recent survey exploring how risk communication is perceived and practised in both countries.

• Perspectives of risk communicators on their role in conveying chemical risks
• Key factors influencing effective risk communication
• The impact of cultural differences through comparison of findings from Greece and Slovenia
• Assessment of the current state of risk communication and areas for improvement
• Final recommendations based on survey results

Target audience
The webinar was open to a wide range of stakeholders, including PARC partners and members of National Hubs, particularly those interested in strengthening risk communication strategies and public health messaging.

The one-hour webinar was free of charge and hosted on Zoom.
