The Introduction to Statistics with R workshop took place from 20 to 22 November 2025 at the University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology (UMIT) in Hall in Tirol, Austria. This intensive three-day course provided a practical introduction to statistical analysis using the R programming language. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises, participants learned how to navigate R, manage data structures, perform descriptive and inferential statistics, conduct hypothesis testing, and build basic regression models. The course also offered guidance on creating quality data visualisations to support effective communication of results.
