Scientific Reporting and Writing
The Scientific Reporting and Writing course will take place in Hall in Tirol, Austria, from 12–14 November 2026, with an online preparation phase beginning on 12 October 2026. This certified university training programme is designed to strengthen participants' skills in scientific communication, academic writing, manuscript preparation, peer review, and scientific presentation. The course combines a three-day in-person training component with preparatory online exercises, during which participants work on their own abstracts and manuscript sections and receive personalised feedback from peers and faculty. Particular attention is given to the practical challenges of scientific reporting, publication, and effective communication in English for an international scientific audience.
Target audience
This course is particularly relevant for PhD candidates, master's students, medical dents, researchers, lecturers, scientific investigators, health professionals, HTA experts, policy professionals, medical writers, journal reviewers, funding agency staff, and professionals involved in scientific communication and publication. No formal prerequisites are required. The course is taught in English and is suitable for both native and non-native English speakers.
