One of PARC’s objectives is to strengthen scientific capacity across the partnership, and support the exchange of knowledge, methods and expertise. To contribute to these objectives, PARC has established the new PARC Mobility Grants, providing financial support for participation in selected training and mobility activities across the consortium. By reducing the financial barriers, the scheme enables participants to access specialised training, and work alongside colleagues in other institutions, contributing to both their professional development and the objectives of PARC.

Two types of mobility grants are available:

• Training Course Mobility Grants, supporting participation in eligible PARC in-person training courses organised under Task 9.4;
• Staff Exchange Mobility Grants, supporting short-term scientific exchanges between PARC partner institutions to develop new technical skills, exchange expertise and strengthen scientific collaboration.

The initiative is open to staff affiliated with PARC beneficiary institutions who are actively involved in chemical risk assessment or closely related scientific fields. To help applicants prepare their submissions, Task 9.4 on Training has developed a comprehensive set of supporting documents, including the PARC Mobility Grants Framework ↗ and the Guide for Applicants ↗, which explain the eligibility requirements, funding rules, application procedures, and evaluation process. A dedicated Mobility Grants Toolkit ↗ is also available, providing templates and practical guidance for preparing the required application documents.

The first call for Staff Exchange Mobility Grants will open in September 2026, supporting exchanges taking place during the first semester of 2027. In the meantime, prospective applicants are encouraged to explore the list of available host institutions in the Opportunities section of the PARC website. Further Staff Exchange Mobility Grant calls and Training Course Mobility Grant opportunities linked to eligible PARC training activities will be announced throughout the project.
