PARC Junior Community kicks-off in PARCopedia
Parcopedia is getting shape and so, a new PARC Junior community was established in that virtual space for students, recent graduates and early career researchers.
On Wednesday, 6 March 2024, the Junior Community started an on-line lunch-time talk that will become a bimonthly gathering for its members. The first meeting set the stage for participants to share their interests and expectations within the community. ¨These meetings will be an opportunity for them to share their experiences of working in PARC, conducting exciting research and finding new topics in their research field¨ explains Maria Tannous coordinator of the Junior community at the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, (ANSES). Short talks on interesting topics will be organised and competitions held to encourage active participation and fostering deeper connection with PARC.
Cristophe Rousselle, PARC’s deputy director at ANSES, welcomed the junior scientists and highlighted their significant role in shaping the future. He also emphasised the networking opportunities that may arise while being part of the Parcopedia knowledge platform. The first poster competition has been officially launched. Members are invited to submit their poster proposal in this community. The winners will present their poster at the Consortium meeting ↗ in Innsbruck, Austria in May.
PARC Junior Community is part of the newly created online knowledge and platform PARCopedia ↗, where members can share articles, job vacancies, join forums and directly discuss trending topics related to chemical risk assessment.
