The Ready for BioData Management? Intensive Course will take place in person on 9-10 October 2025 at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and is designed to provide life sciences researchers with a practical and comprehensive introduction to Research Data Management (RDM) across the entire research data lifecycle. This two-day course combines theoretical lectures with hands-on group exercises and discussions, allowing participants to explore RDM challenges and become familiar with essential tools such as Galaxy, Dataverse, and the Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW). 

Who should attend
This course is intended for researchers, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and lab managers working with biomedical or life sciences data. While no prior experience in Research Data Management is required, participants should have some familiarity with handling research data.
