Mobile air quality monitoring

Join the PARC European Air Laboratory Network

PARC is developing a European Laboratory Network, a collaborative effort bringing together laboratories across Europe with expertise in chemical analysis. This network, comprised of laboratories specializing in a variety of domains - such as air, water, soil, human biomonitoring, and (eco)toxicological assessments - aims to foster collaboration, enhance visibility, and provide valuable resources to stakeholders across Europe.

As part of this effort, we are currently focusing on air quality, and have developed a comprehensive air laboratory questionnaire. This survey is designed to collect detailed information on the chemical analytical capacities of laboratories working in this domain.

How to participate

We invite all European laboratories - both members of the PARC consortium and external institutions - to participate in this initiative by completing the questionnaire. By joining the Air Laboratory Network, your laboratory will be featured on an interactive map hosted on the PARC website. In addition, the data provided will be integrated into a dashboard that will be accessible to stakeholders and the public, enhancing the visibility of your laboratory’s analytical capacities.

This initiative will provide a valuable resource for a wide range of stakeholders, from researchers and policymakers to businesses and other organizations interested in chemical risk assessment and air quality monitoring.

Benefits of joining

  • Public visibility: Your laboratory will be highlighted on a public, interactive map available through the PARC website.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Information about your analytical capacities will be accessible to key stakeholders, fostering potential collaborations and partnerships.
  • Contribute to a European-wide network: Join a growing community of laboratories working to improve air quality monitoring and chemical risk assessment across Europe.

Deadline

The questionnaire will remain open for submissions until 31 October 2024. To participate, click here to access the questionnaire.
