Water laboratories

Join the PARC European Water Laboratory Network

PARC is developing a European Laboratory Network, a collaborative initiative uniting laboratories across Europe with expertise in chemical analysis. This network includes laboratories working in various fields - such as water, air, soil, human biomonitoring, and (eco)toxicological assessments - and aims to foster collaboration, enhance visibility, and offer valuable resources to stakeholders Europe-wide.

As part of this effort, we are currently focusing on water quality, and have developed a comprehensive water laboratory questionnaire. This survey is designed to gather detailed information on the chemical analytical capacities of laboratories working in the water domain.

How to participate

We invite all European laboratories - both those within the PARC consortium and external institutions - to take part in this initiative by completing the questionnaire.

By joining the Water Laboratory Network, your laboratory will be featured on an interactive map hosted on the PARC website. The data you provide will also be integrated into a dashboard accessible to stakeholders and the public, helping to raise awareness of your laboratory’s expertise in water quality analysis.

This initiative supports a wide range of stakeholders, from researchers and policymakers to businesses and organizations engaged in chemical risk assessment and water monitoring.

Benefits of joining

  • Public visibility: Your laboratory will be highlighted on a public, interactive map available through the PARC website.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Information about your analytical capacities will be accessible to key stakeholders, fostering potential collaborations and partnerships.
  • Contribute to a European-wide network: Join a growing community of laboratories working to improve air quality monitoring and chemical risk assessment across Europe.

Deadline

The questionnaire is open for submissions until 18 July 2025. To participate, click here to access the questionnaire.
