Join the PARC training course on NAMs and hazard assessment of chemicals

PARC is organising an in-person training course on new approach methodologies (NAMs) & hazard assessment of chemicals, focusing on conceptual aspects, practical applications, method demonstrations, and data integration. The course will take place from 11 to 13 June 2025, in Brno, Czech Republic, under the scientific coordination of RECETOX (Research Centre for Toxic Compounds in the Environment).

What to expect:

  • An overview of key practical and conceptual aspects of NAMs
  • Insights into evaluating NAMs against basic criteria
  • Hands-on experience with NAMs in laboratories, including data collection and analysis
  • Application of NAMs for various purposes

Who should attend:

This course is designed for researchers, students, and risk assessors from agencies and regulatory bodies. Participants should have a basic understanding of biological and chemical sciences, toxicology, and regulatory risk assessment principles.

Practical details:

This course is open for both PARC members and non-members, although priority will be given to PARC members. There are no registration fees, but participants must cover travel, accommodation, and other expenses.
