Meeting training needs

Training needs: PARC Individual Assessment Survey now open!

PARC has now launched the Training Needs: PARC Individual Assessment Survey, making the second phase of a process that aims to identify training needs in the fields of risk assessment and related scientific areas. This process began in early 2025 with the compilation of institutional training needs and now extends to gathering individual perspectives.

This survey aims to capture an understanding of the training demands across the risk assessment community, ensuring that upcoming training initiatives planned for 2026 and 2027 are not only strategically aligned with PARC’s objectives but are also responsive to the real and diverse needs of all those working in next-generation risk assessment.

Open to all PARC partners as well as to European stakeholders, the survey will collect valuable input on individual training preferences, knowledge gaps, and reflections on the First PARC Training Plan. This inclusive approach is designed to strengthen the relevance, scope, and effectiveness of the training programme moving forward.

Understanding the specific training needs of professionals in risk assessment is crucial to developing a program that is both relevant and impactful. This survey allows us to tailor future training initiatives to the real challenges and priorities of our community", highlights Carla Trindade Costa, task co-leader of training activities.

The survey is available here until 30 April 2025, and all contributions will play a vital role in shaping a tailored, high-impact training strategy. Don’t miss this opportunity to make your opinion count!
