Building synergies to maximise the impact of PARC
This video features Sónia Namorado, recorded during the PARC Consortium Meeting in Dublin in June 2026, which brought together partners from across the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC).
Sónia, who works at the National Health Institute Dr. Ricardo Jorge in Portugal, explains that it is crucial for PARC to establish synergies with external entities beyond the consortium to join efforts and maximise the impact of its work. So far, PARC has established 35 synergies covering areas such as Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA), toxicology and other related fields. These include collaborations with other European projects, as well as institutions outside Europe, including partners in Korea, Japan and the United States.
